Registration

Schedule

Registration is mandated to open 1 hour before races start [USA Cycling]. Registration for each field remains open until 15 minutes before the race starts. The table should remain open until 15 minutes before the last field starts, at a minimum.

At the first race of the season, registration often officially opens earlier, roughly 90 minutes before the first race starts, to deal with the additional volume. Registration may unofficially open earlier at other races when ready.

Moving Registration

If races in a day are at distant locations, registration may have to move between venues. Registration should be at the second venue at least 45 minutes before races start at that location, and should not be closed longer than needed.
